Grandma's pearls

My Mother gave these to me so I can wear them at my wedding later this fall and I was wanting to find out some information about them. Unfortunately, my Grandma passed 4 years ago, so I was never able to ask the question of where they came from and my Mother is unsure.

The bracelet I am almost positive is real pearl, the marking on the clasp being "14k" "585" and has a name that i believe is "KEVIN" but the first few letters have began to wear away.

The necklace has no markings, whatsoever, and i'm guessing is more of a costume piece.

Any information would be much appreciated!
