HW Ld | Gold Colored Ring with Diamond Cluster

I have a gold coloured ring with diamonds marked as follows:

HW Ld (I think this is the maker Henry Williamson Ltd) 18Ct, PLAT, and the letter A. There is no assay office mark. Can anyone explain this?
