initials TW inside a sort of arrow shape

"TW" then "375" then Birmingham assay office symbol

It was hard to get a good picture of the inside of this ring - hope you can see it. The maker's mark "TW" is inside a sort of arrow-shaped shield - a rectangle where the right and left sides are both "greater than" signs. The ring was made in England (Birmingham assay office) and actually I purchased it from someone in England. It's 9k gold (marked 375). But who is the maker? I can't find this mark in any list.

A jeweler told me the ring is at least 90 years old. It appears handmade. If I could identify the maker, I could better assess the age, but I can't find anything on this maker.

Any ideas?
