Need help identifying...

I believe the ring is 19th century.

The halmark is as follows:

the letter 'C'
a solid Star
a symbol that appears to be a Maltese Cross
the letter 'W'

Sadly I do not have a camera capable of such a close up photo.

Any help would be much appreciated.
