I would estimate that this necklace dates to c.1900 or thereabouts. These hollow gold necklaces were very popular at the turn of the 20th century. Gold jewelry was not legally required to be hallmarked in the US until 1907, but most higher-karat gold jewelry is marked from 1900 onwards.
