Yes, Mikimoto did make pearl earings in the shape of grapes, I found his mark K M on the end of the screw in KNOB. I'm answering my own ouestion. Bob Picciano

Good evening Bob Mikimoto did make earrings in silver. I have just been admiring a pair of early Mikimoto screw-back earrings in 14 k gold, (not silver) and the design did resemble a small bunch of grapes; from the earring attachment was a gold vertical "stem" and from which were attached three AAA Mikimoto pearls (white with silvery overtones) and the pearls did resemble a small bunch of grapes. When you think about it, you couldn't find a better medium than pearls to represent grapes. Warm Regards Yvonne
