Polish wedding band only says solid gold

i have my great grandmothers plain wedding band from the 1880's which is gold colored, with a slight rose gold tinge. It has many small scratches. Inside are the words solid gold stamped inside, and nothing else. The words are in a somewhat darker colored rectangle which is recessed inside the ring. Is the ring probably plated or is it likely to be 10 K gold? My grandmother immigrated from Poland and was never a wealthy woman.
