R in Rhombus Diamond Shape

Hi,

I have a 14K ring that I bought from New Jersey,
and as well as it saying 14K on the
inside of the band, it also has a
rhombus with the letter R in it.

I have searched EVERYWHERE
online to find out what this marking means,
but have come up with nothing.

If you could help I'd be really grateful.
