What does this marking mean? Was this marking used in a particular country? What years was this marking used? Is it still used? There are no other markings on the ring. There is a stone in the ring, the table of the stone is worn down. (I think that the stone is glass, but I'm not sure.)

I found the ring in a box of broken jewelry that my grandmother had. My grandmother lived from 1892 to 1965. I found the ring in the box of broken jewelry in the late 1970's when I was repairing some costume jewelry. I asked my mother and my aunts about the ring but they didn't remember it.

Can you tell me anything about the markings.
