I have a set that was my grandmother's, but the base of my box is black, with goldfish or yellowish flowers on the top. They were restrung after a jeweler broke them. I am curious to get a price as well....

I have these same pearls in the teal box. My grandmother worked at a department store when my parents married in 1971. She purchased them there for my mother as a gift for their wedding. It was Pizitz store. I had them appraised several years ago for insurance purposes and they valued them at close to $1,000.

your Rpyalle pearls look in great condition - I was interested in these pearls and found at auction a necklace strand of Royalle Cultured Pearls in a Red box. I wondered if the different coloured boxes held any date or value clues
