Russian cufflinks

I have a pair of antique gold & diamond Russian cufflinks. (I say "Russian" because one of the hallmarks on the post is "56," which I understands means 14k.) They measure 13 mm in diameter and weigh 5.4 grams total. The center stones are little mine cut diamonds (approximately 2mm each), others are rose cut diamonds--a total of 25 stones per link. I'd like to get more info. on them, if at all possible, including the maker/manufacturer. The other mark clearly includes both an "A" and a "P." To the left of these letters is a partial image or design, the remains of which appears as a shepherd's crook, facing left, though It's doubtless a partial of something else. Above all of this is a bean-shaped image, with a line from the upper left, going down to the lower right. It reminds me of, perhaps, a hill in front of another one. Attached is a photo of the links. Note the unusual mechanism. Sorry, but I can't pick up the marks with my camera.
