Netherlands Gold Hallmarks

Hi Erwin, as I have little else to go by, I'm guessing the ring is from the Netherlands. Hallmarking and date marking are long-standing traditions in the Netherlands. Date marking with a letter code began in Amsterdam in 1503.

There is not letter mark on this ring, that we can see. It may not be the maker's initials but could, for example, be the initials of the couple who exchanged rings. As we're not in the business of "guessing" on Antique Jewelry Investor, could you please upload a photo of the front of the ring, in a follow-up submission so that we can investigate further. It may not be an antique gold ring at all.
