It has the mark 'p . p & t Ltd'
i can't find any information anywhere, have you heard of it?

This is a silverplate mark (EP=electroplate) for Thomas Latham & Ernest Morton of Birmingham.

It could be French

I'm not an expert but I know that France has an owl in a circle for gold foreign and unknown articles . Also a bird that looks similar in fact it could even be an owl, was used on old articles of 50% gold over base metal.

It would interesting to know more about this item and it also might make identification easier. Is it gold or gold over base metal?
