Value of my vintage pearls

I have a set of vintage Akoya pearls "by Imperial" that I believe date to the 1940's. They are in excellent condition. Color is white with a rose cast. The strand is 17" long, pearls are well matched, near-round and round, 8-8.5mm with white gold clasp.

What would you estimate is the value of a strand like this?
