Looking at my grandfather's gold watch, it has an anchor hallmark. Can you confirm that the anchor mark was only ever used by the Birmingham Assay Office (according to the year mark, this appears to be a 1928 manufacture). I only ask because the anchor looks a little different to the current Assay Mark - upright and with no hole in the top of the anchor. Many thanks
