Inscriptions on Gold Band | Maybe diamond Info?
by: Valerie

In theory, it's usually the gold content that's inscribed and the rest remains up to the maker and the owner.

D is the start of alphabet of Diamond grading and finest diamond color grade is "D" is colorless, truly colorless diamonds are very rare and very valuable. The diamond is graded upside down, before it is set in the mounting. If I had a custom designed ring set with a D colorless diamond - I'd certainly want it inscribed in gold :-)
