Jewelry Television Company
by: Yvonne

Maharba,

Thanks for reaching out Peg, so glad you found us!

JTC 969 is a Jewelry Television Company stock/item number. JTV sells a lot of jewelry on TV and online. The 969 is just their internal SKU, not a metal mark.

It looks like the metal is 925, 10K, 14K nearby. If there’s no metal stamp, JTV often sold it in silver or gold-plated.

The "unusual cut ruby" is of specific interest.

JTV loved lab-created and unusual cuts like trillion, heart, checkerboard. Real ruby is rare at their price points.

Most likely it is a lab ruby or ruby simulant.

The Value based on just JTC 969, will be worth what someone will pay. Check eBay "sold" listings for JTV ruby rings. If you want real value, a jeweler can test if the stone is natural vs lab.

With care,
Yvonne
