by: Jamie

I have a cross necklace - on the back it is marked DB Ster. There is no punch mark, marking looks exactly like I typed it here. I cannot find anything similar on line?

DB stamped T-bar
by: Dragon

I recently bought a T-bar ( or Watch chain now used as a Necklace ) This is also stamped with the letters DB in Capital letters in what looks like a square? or maybe a Lozenge? What makes this chain different from any I've seen before is the fact that every single link is stamped! including the T-Bar itself! I have tried to look for this maker myself with no success! So if anyone can help with this mark? please help

Photo Requested

Hi Janie

thank you for writing in with the following hallmark question:

"Hi, I have a vintage diamond and white gold or silver ring that is marked "DB". I found another ring online that is for sale with the same mark, the description states that was made by an old Hawaiian goldsmith. I cannot find anything about such a goldsmith. Could you give me any more information or help me out to determine who the maker is? Thank you kindly!"

Janie - there are a number of maker's who use DB initial marks. Can you attach photo in a follow-up submission of the actual mark. The style of the letter and the shape of the punch mark behind the letters is critical for proper identification.
