Crown Wing for Victorian Hallmark

What an interesting antique hallmark. I have moved this question to the Crown wing of the Vaulted Shelf Museum. The wood background, and hinged round case, is a dead giveaway for late 1800s - early 1900s. The serpent wrapped around the shaft of a snake is the mark for Mappin & Webb.
