Thanks, Yvonne and co. for the research. My father's partner's name was Atkins in their firm Varley & Atkins Jewellers. Now my wedding band was made by an Atkin. Love it.

Hi without the benefit of a photo, most probably, the maker's mark is that of - Henry Atkin Brothers - ca 1841 - 1920s.
