Antique Signet Ring

I have an antique signet ring which I have tried to date and based on research it appears to be a 5BC + /- item. It appears to be a wax ring, a photo of a left facing lion stadant. Can you tell me where I can obtain info on the Lion Stadant hallmark and examples in order to determine its value.
