Anchor symbols, close-ups & hallmark wizard
by: Jan Noack

Anchor usually means Birmingham.

Have a look up.

If you want to see those symbols you may like to consider purchasing a jewelry loupe, or if you have access to a camera that does close-ups -that can bring up the symbols really well.

I bought a couple of loupes on ebay from Asia. They were cheap (a few dollars) a few years ago, and work OK.

In the
Jewelry Resources link
on Antique Jewelry Investor on the LHS, there is a link to a Hallmark Wizard.

Have a look at the anchor symbol there..and other symbols when you can make them out.

Best Regards,
Jan
