gents ring

Hi i have a gent's ring. it is a square top ring with a non english inscription, it looks like gold with silver pattern and a gold temple on each side, found in family belongings, could even be 1st world war, the hall mark has 2 small stars and another mark i can't make out. can you help. thanks
