Does the "MOP" diamond shapes, (or similar substance to Mother of Pearl diamond shapes) have a high degree of iridescence? Does it look and feel a bit like plastic? synthetic imitation of MOP? FYI there's nothing wrong with plastic perfectly in-keeping for different periods, but identifying the materials used will also help to date it.
