Need help with an old ring!

I bought this ring from a friend of family who was at the time 80 years old and that was about 20 years ago. I bought it for 50cents from her garage sale. It ended up being placed in a box and stored away for past 20 years. I recently came across it a few weeks ago. Its an interesting ring and I'm curious what its worth. The band apears to be twisted or braided and soldered under the tigers eye. I just feel its quite unique and would like to learn more about it. Thanks for any help!
