Renaissance Revival Striped Agate Gemstone and Enamel Demi Parure

This circa 1870 impressive set tests to be 15k gold so it is likely English. The agate drops are transluscent and display flashes of ruby color when turned. There is a memorial compartment on the reverse of the pendant. It has Renaissance influence for sure, but the use of Agate is pure Victorian!
