12kt gf photo locket

I have a 12kt gf octogonal photo locket. On the reverse side is the marking C A with arrow through it. This was given to me when I was very young. I am now 81 years old and would like to have the history because i plan to give it to my great granddaughter. Is there a book on this old locket
