14k gold Glass ring | Antique, Edwardian, Victorian or Vintage?

Hello,

I have a white gold ring marked "14kx" I found a ref saying that that mark meant solid gold so I took it to a jeweler and he confirmed that but he said it was a NEW quality mark and I thought this was antique.

He also said the stone was glass. My friend said he meant TOPAZ.

Is there anywhere I can find online that would tell me the age of the gold quality mark "14kx" ? Someone told me it was Victorian, others said Edwardian engagement ring.

I am SO confused.
