Antique Gold ring with Family Crest - - Could it be toxic or even Radioactive?

I have just acquired a gold ring with what looks to be a "Beaver Family Crest" on the top. It appears to have the following markings inside:

110k - (something unidentifiable)

The gold seems to have two different colors (different colors on different parts of the ring).

Supposedly, it came from an old woman.

I like the ring, but don't want to wear some cheap metal ring that could have ill effects (I read an article about some metals in old jewelry making people sick).
