Dating a Cameo by Hairstyle

I love cameo earrings. I previously owned a pair of victorian cameo earrings that featured a male profile on one earring and a female profile on the other. I miss them:-(

Yes, you can tell the era the carver was referring too but this era doesn't necessarily mean it was the time in history when the earrings were actually made.

The findings would need to be examined, what materials is the cameo made from? other details that might seem trivial, and also a photo/s of the earrings are needed.

You might like to get them appraised, you will need to upload photos but at least that way you will know what you have and the value.
