Dante Museum Masterpiece Cufflinks

I have a pair of Dante cufflinks that came attached inside an incolay box.

I think the style is Apollo from the Museum Masterpiece Collection.

Does anyone know if they originally came inside one of these incolay trinket boxes? I have only seen them in black velvet jewelry boxes before.
