Information about Pearl Necklace

I have a pearl necklace that was given to me a few years ago. I was told it is over 50 years old and was his grand mothers set that was given to him when she passed away. I no longer wish to keep this necklace and was needing information about the pearl necklace strand. I found a set on Ebay that was the exact set that I have. It was listed as Japanese Fresh water pearls.

IT had the exact clasp on it as the one I have. I need information as to where I can sell this necklace and exactly how much I can sell it for.
