G in Diamond Jewelry mark

In 1906 Cartier produced drawings of great simplicity and of abstract design that made their debut onto stickpins.

Stickpins became much neater and smaller with the move towards geometrical designs (that characterized the art deco period in general) and away from the watery flowing earlier style often known as the garland style.
