Hi, this is a perfume bottle, it is possibly made of silver. It may have been made to attach to a chatelaine chain during the victorian period. This was a chain which dangled from a lady's or housekeeper's waist to which useful items were attached via dangling chains eg. small scissors, thimble, watch, keys etc.or it could have been made to keep in a small evening purse. Now, these items are used as cool necklaces.
