Vintage, Silver Mason Ring with Gold Inlay

My grand father placed this in my hand when I was a boy. I was later adopted and never told its meaning or value aside grandpa gave it to me. ....I know he was from norway if that helps, and I am in my 50's now... the weight is equil better to a 9 volt battery...sorry... the ring is hefty, you know.

When you have it on...stamped inside the ring has worn markings that can't be read but worn badly is mexico silver.. rose gold is the inlay. 4 photo's with this I hope as well helps you.
