Antique Wedding Jewelry by: Anonymous
Congratulations on your wedding! Very late Georgian the emphasis passed from the setting to the stone. Diamond tiaras, diamond rivieres, a type of neck chain strung with graduated gemstones of the same kind, were worn by fashionable women of the period.
Expensive rivières, a necklace of gems that increase in size toward a large central stone, typically consisting of more than one string, were made with diamonds mounted in silver or platinum. Others were set with amethyst and lessor known stones, especially in the Victorian era.

Empire jewels by: Jean Papin
A necklace consisting of oval plaques of clustered stones or seed pearls would have been worn with an empire waisted dress (which I assume is cut low across the chest).
The length of such a necklace was short but not generally choker length. A demi parure of seed pearl jewelry would be ideal, or a riviere necklace of solitaire foiled stones or floral shaped clusters.
The earrings would have been pendant style, and often hung from double chains joined at the top of the earring. Sometimes a long chain was worn which cascaded down, draping over the chest and ending below the bosom, but I think for a formal event such as your wedding the former suggestion would be more appropriate.
Napoléon Bonaparte regarded the luxury of his court as an aspect of national prestige. Around this time complete matching jewels known as parures begin to be worn.
The favorite earrings of the time were long pearl or diamond pendeloques that Empress Josephine and other members of the imperial family wore.
