We have a similar ring (from ca. 1932-1933) with JTL 80 STJO. I think this is John T. Lamb, Jeweller, of St. John's, Newfoundland. The hallmarks being the jeweller JTL and the place-name STJO for St. John's.

JTL is a jewelry marking used by Andin International Inc. But without seeing the marks I would not say that is whom the maker is. If you could take close-up pictures of the markings we would be better able to help you. Thanks
