Hi Kathy your bracelet sounds quite beautiful! I collect mother-of-pearl jewelry. I can't resist its iridescent effect that under light is reflected in the layers of the nacre. Too much sunlight however can destroy the iridescence and then it's said to be 'blind' so be careful where you store it.
The play of color on the mother-pearl shell I find incomparable.
What a lovely combination, with the gold metal, purple amethyst and Mother-of-Pearl!

Hi Kathy. Rebecca here. Any chance of adding a photo? Are there any marks anywhere on the piece? It sounds like a similar construction to Marie's cherished bracelet with the attached stations connected by way of two chains.
