Try Editing - Fotoflexer
by: Anonymous

Sherry

I know the feeling....

Have you tried Fotoflexer for resizing and editing.. When you finally finish editing - resubmit. I'd love to see your pendant - Im thinking it might be German Art Nouveau which had a different style than French Art Nouveau. I'll look out for your question. Regards Yvonne

It looks as if the pitcures are larger than 1MB...so they will not go through.

Continental German Silver Pendant - Possibly Art Nouveau
by: Yvonne

Good Morning
Sherry thanks for writing in. Check the numbers again under magnification - it might be 935 this is the mark for Continental "Sterling" German.

Sherry, also be aware that "nickel silver" is also called German Silver but it is not German and not Silver.

The Pendant might be "Art Nouveau" which was referred to as - "Jugendstil" in Germany; German for "youth style" or "the style of youth" named after the magazine Jugend, which promoted it.

The "sparklers" could be marcasite. It's a mineral called PYRITE - and was particularly popular in the eighteenth century, the Victorian era and with Art Nouveau jewellery designers. Need to see a photo. It would be great if you describe the design of pendant or even better, send in a photo.

Regards
Yvonne Hammouda-Eyre
