Possibly European Diamond Engagement Ring
by: Yvonne

Hi Isabel,

I'm not one for guessing when it comes to the origin of jewelry, that's what attracts me to hallmarks as it takes away the guess work.
However, just for you :-) the style of your antique diamond engagement ring, looks to me, to be european.

Isabel, you could ask an expert for a paid opinion, which is a separate service, if you like, the Expert Opinion Form can be Found HERE.

Best Wishes,
Yvonne

No markings

Thanks Yvonne!

I do love the way old cuts sparkle.
Unfortunately there were no markings inside the band. Would you be able to guess what the origin was from through the particular design of the ring?

Kind regards,
Isabel

Old European Cut Diamond Ring
by: Yvonne

Good Morning!

Isabel, what a beautiful antique engagement ring! As you can see in the video I've uploaded below, you can't beat the fire and scintillation these old cut diamonds display compared to their modern diamond cut standard descendants.

Isabel, the combination of the white metal - Platinum and Diamond was a popular combination in the early 1900s during the Art Deco period.

Isabel, are there any markings inside the band. This info will help with origin and maker.

Best Wishes,

Yvonne
