Hello, I have a dangle heart brooch marked helio brilliant, with a patent date of 2246399. It does have that marcasite rhinestone look to it, with a c clasp. I am not sure what all these little characteristics mean? Please help. Thank you, Gina

The condition of your jewelry is one of the most important factors in determining the value. The better the condition, the more desirable your item and consequently the more your item will be worth. Jewelry does not have to be made of diamonds and gold to be valuable.
Could you please describe as best you can, the clasp on the reverse. Could you please describe the surface finish of your heart? Does it have the appearance of being set with marquisettes or rhinestones from a distance?
