does not change color

Thank you, but it does not change color. A jeweler told me there is not a gemstone that color. But then no one seems to have ever seen an old rhinestone with a stripe, either.

It's an Alexandrite or Mystic Sapphire!

That is an Alexandrite...I think! If it changes color in different light then it is. Natural Alexandrite over a half carat is very rare but they are being synthetically created in labs now and those are not as valuable. It could be worth a lot but you have to find someone who knows about Alexandrite!
