WWW Hallmark on Ruby Ring

I have acquired a gold filigree ring which appears tobe old and well worn. It has a very large ruby or rubylike stone in it and WWW in the band and 14K stamped in the band. After some research it appears that it may well be a real ruby, however it's at least 10 carats. I am going to take it to my jeweler tomorrow but would love to identify the WWW on the band. Any ideas?
